What a big job. Not so much for me, you understand, but Mrs. has taken on a bunch in the past year. One of the biggest hurdles was cleared this afternoon. The closing of Mil’s house. While this has been emotionally difficult for Mil, it has been physically and mentally taxing for Mrs. Of course, I have been very involved, but I haven’t had to carry the real weight. Mrs. deserves her own national holiday.
At the risk of embarrassing her, we need to thank our friend Realtorchick for a job very well done. She did everything she could to make things easier on our end. Thanks RC. (hat tip)

Having been born in Oak Ridge and raised through this school system I tend to take this type of non-descript bafflegab a bit personally. While I don’t claim that the members on our local school board are...

Well boys and girls, I hate diets. As a youngster I never had a problem with weight. I didn’t have an ounce of fat until I was in my mid-thirties.
Since that Time I have only seriously dieted twice. My most successful diet was the “divorce diet.” I honestly wouldn’t suggest that one, on account of it involves a good bit more alcohol than is healthy, no green vegetables and far too much self pity. Using the divorce diet I lost 75 pounds in about five months.
I started my current di...
