Tomorrow, Wells Fargo is announcing enhancements to its CEO Mobile service , a browser-based mobile banking service for its corporate banking customers that remains unique among major financial institutions in the US. Users of CEO Mobile can now initiate and approve federal tax wires and see which self administration dual control items they can act on from their mobile devices.

Donald L. Kohn, Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve, testified at a hearing of the Senate Banking Committee today about the condition of the US banking system . Heartland Payment Systems has announced it has acquired a majority interest in Collective Point of Sale Solutions Ltd, a growing Canadian provider of payment processing services and secure point-of-sale solutions. Under the agreement, Heartland will maintain the CollectivePOS brand in Canada. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
