Wednesday This N’ That: Joey Kyle, Nature Center, City Manager Committee, Judge Michael Cordonnier

Just a lot of little things that I decided to combine into one post… First, the people going after Christian County Sheriff candidate Joey Kyle are making me sick.  I saw a story last night on KSPR where people like Wade Dunivent are making all kinds of ill-informed statements and questions like “My point is if he can’t manage his own business with a smaller dollar amount, how he is going to run a sheriff’s department?” The man’s business went under as a result of his being called up for service in the Iraq War.  He was gone for months serving this country in a time of war.  Regardless of what you think of the war, you cannot slam someone for reporting for duty when called.  Those kinds of deployments cause hardship on all families of our servicemen and women on the front lines and businesses have failed all over the country from their owners or operators being deployed.
