The 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics are upon us, as is the requisite ridiculous internet censorship. The games promise to be an exciting display of athletic prowess and impending disaster, and we can think of no better way to train your absurdity receptors than a trip back through Saturday Night Live’s significant collection of summer Olympics comedy. U-S-A (no really, U-S-A)!
    Weekend Update: All Drug Olympics may be a bit on the obvious side, but it’s still weirdly prescient.
    Swimming Instructor updates things with a classically creepy effort from John C. Reilly, though it ends up dragging on like only an SNL sketch can.
    Kerri and Kippy Strug reveals the legendary vaulter as a great sport outside of the gym as well.
    Weekend Update: Olga Korbut is the first of two sketches featuring John Belushi, ever the true sports fan’s comedian.
    Little Chocolate Donuts inspired this list, as it has so many athletes around the world.
