In looking at the agenda for the event, here are some talks I'd really love to crash:
Oslo: Building Textual DSLs - lots of geek porn appeal, and if internal usage is any indication, a highly addictive technology. I predict this will be the World of Warcraft of 2009.

ASP.NET and jQuery - OK, so the title on the details page doesn't match, but if this is a session on how MS is going to integrate jQuery into the arsenal of .NET devs, I want to hear it.
The Raymond Chen talk - Despite being a former columnist for MSDN Magazine (hi Joel), I like unmanaged code too and would love to see what we're doing in the land of HWNDs.
Steve Marx codes - If you want us to run your code in our cloud, go see this talk. Period.
Vasters on messaging services - If you want to ...

So Jermaine Dupri thinks he’s 21 again. He threw up all over his girlfriend Janet Jackson at his birthday party a few nights ago. And we hear she was NOT pleased:

I’ve got no opinion on the GNU-vs-XEmacs analysis. I never used XEmacs for more than a day. I stopped using GNU Emacs in November 2003. I’m sure both version of emacs are even gotten better over the past 4+ years.
Had this just been another installment in the GNU-vs-XEmacs soap opera, there’d be nothing to see here.
Sandwiched between this however are some obser... more

Doug’s been running my team for coming up on a year.
Doug has more passion and energy than anyone I’ve ever worked with.
Getting to work on a team that’s building a language and a tool is both exciting and intimidating.
The three most “personal” choices a developer makes are language, tool, and OS.
Working on 2/3rds of that equation is pretty thrilling.
Way more fun than anyt... more
