But after the last week and a half, I think this is something that needs to be said. I’m glad I’m no longer a card carrying member of a partisan blogospheric army.
I’ve often said one of the downfalls of the left side of the blogosphere is their tendency to overplay a hand dealt to them. Well, I’d like to add the right-side of the blogosphere, as well.
Because it seems that while they’re big fans of tolerancy when it comes to a military’s right to setup shop at UC-Santa Cruz for the purposes of recruiting young men and women, they’re not big fans of the concept when a relative nobody like Bill Arkin writes something completely ridiculous that it’s not enough to mock and marginalize his opinion.
No, they must be fired from their job.
Arkin’s comments were anywhere from ignorant to repugnant.
That doesn’t mean it’s up to us to decide whether the Wapo should fire him.
And ditto for the John Edwards c...

He’ll sometimes play a little too rough. At which point, Cali will promptly put him in his place.
It’s almost like they’re married.
Cali likes the top shelf of the new cat tree.
Which relegates Chester to one of the lower branches.

They had a little rough play session between my feet at 1:00 am this morning that resulted in one of the cats hissing at each other.
No bother.
I just decided since I didn’t know who started it, I’d kick both of them off the bed.
And then I went to sleep.

I can just about assure you for the time being with the Mavericks in the thick of what will hopefully end with with Dirk, Avery, JET, and the rest of the Mavs hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy in June combined with my new job, it’s unlikely you’ll see any political blogging from me, whatsoever.
I think I’ll stick to the occasional story about my family.
And yes, that includes Cali, Chester, and Deja.
