Pepsi reaches out to blogosphere
Pepsi, with help from PR agency, Edelman, are the latest big brand to engage in the social media space as they launch their new logo.
The drinks company has sent a care package to 25 “digital and social media influencers” in the marketing sphere, including David Armano , Chris Brogan and PSFK , the trends and innovation blog. The package contains empty cans with pepsi cans through the ages - easy camera fodder for blogs and Flickr.

MyHeritage’s vision is to make it easier for people around the world to use the power of the Internet to discover their heritage and strengthen their bonds with family and friends. Google launched Google Trends today (May 10, 2006) as part of Google Press Day . Google Trends allows you to search and compare search data on terms that are entered into a single search field. The layout reminds me of Google Finance but instead of plotting stock information it plots search data with important news tied to the peaks and valleys of the chart. Additionally, the search data can be filtered by date and region.

BitTorrent , a software which speeds the processing time to download movies and other online rich media, reportedly inked a deal with Warner Brothers , a division of the Time Warner company, to sell movies and TV shows online. Much has been said about this deal today by mainstream media and the blogosphere so I am going to keep this post fairly concise.
