Friday night was “Girls’ Night” at our house. I feel so blessed to have so many young girlies in our city! We got together after the girls finished their classes in the evening and made a big spaghetti dinner. I tried a new recipe (which is always dangerous when guests are coming!) for Spaghetti sauce and thought it was super simple and super yummy! I’d share a pic, but it was gone way to fast! LOL! I found the recipe at Better Homes and Garden  if you are interested in trying it. I also made a pumpkin pie from this recipe that I found on Food Network:

Last night I started unpacking and organizing all the stamping goodies my Mother-in-law was able to bring for me in her suitcases. I hadn’t really had a chance to play around with everything, but I was DYING to play with all my new chipboard, patterned paper, and stamps!

Yes, Grandma’s visit has come to an end. She is on an airplane as I write heading to New York and then back to Atlanta. I wish saying good-bye could somehow get easier, but instead it only seems to get harder. Holding Hailey in my arms, we tearfully said good-bye and then drove the longest three hours ever back home. So, I needed something to cheer me up a bit, so I thought I would show you a couple of my favorite pictures of Parker.
