Today has been a flurry of preparation. Laundry, packing, running to the bank, etc. Bright and early tomorrow I’m hitting the road for Orofino, Idaho. What’s in Orofino you ask? Damifino, never been there.
A buddy and I are heading over for an event called Boomershoot. A testosterone-laden gathering billed as a “long range, high-power, precision rifle shooting event with high explosive, reactive targets.” I agreed to act as a spotter for another shooter. I figure I’ll have a blast taking photos and video and let’s be honest, I like guns. Just one of my many endearing quirks.
It’s a long drive from Seattle so I figured we’d need music. That means assembling a playlist on the iPod, or maybe the Zune (I go both ways). I talked to the other Mike about his musical tastes. I actually *have* been posting lately, I just haven’t been posting *here*! The last week has seen me working on several projects to get my motorcycle ready for the touring season. New luggage system being installed and a new GPS in the process of being wired into the bike.
