Like a lot of folks out there, I can’t wait to get my hands on Fable II. Unfortunately, Pub Games is a bitter first taste as you can tell from my review at The Escapist.
Pub Games is a great experiment for Microsoft but it doesn’t seem to do anyone any favors. The games themselves don’t hold enough weight to interest those not already interested in Fable II and the pay outs aren’t big enough or frequent enough to be useful for those who are. Unless of course you’re totally cheating.
Still, this hasn’t stopped me from pre-ordering a Limited Edition, even when I originally opted for a standard copy. The power of the Chief compelled me. Content suppressed by ://URLFAN, for full article visit source

This week, National Geographic announced it would publish its first-ever video game: Africa . Sony released this photography game in Japan on the PS3 but thought Western gamers would have a distaste for its pacifism. Going on safari, looking at semi-realistic African wildlife, and not hunting it all to extinction with a rifle? A-hyuck.

Our web programmer Pete has been improving the Fable II leader boards. He fixed some bugs (behind the scenes), you can now search for a specific gamertag and we added some extra information in the description. He’s also planning on adding the statistics to your profile page (which will be a nice addition) so you’ll be able to link to it. There are some people who’ve kicked their chickens VERY far, on them (I wish I knew how to do that... more Fable 2 Pub Games. From: elitegamez.com Post Date: 2008-10-30 16:52:28 Anyone playing this besides me ? lol Man o man talk about some nifty little addicting games. Screenshot or it Didn’t Happen: Oasis in Rock BandFrom: jaredrea.com Post Date: 2008-01-16 15:45:03 I remember the good ol’ days of Rock Band when Harmonix would let us know a whole month ahead of time to what tune we were to surrender our wallets. We’ve been flying at the seat of our thrones for the past couple of weeks, finding out what’s next only a few short days before release and that’s if we were lucky. Justin over at NeoGAF spotted a shot in the dark today and one that’s no longer there! Crap! Well, for those who missed it, here’s what’... more Wide World of Wrasslin’From: jaredrea.com Post Date: 2008-01-15 14:37:47
Thanks, Jon! I’ve been searching all over for Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for quite a while now and miraculously, Agetec came up with two copies for the wrestling obsessed here at the office. I haven’t played one of these since the Saturn days (Six Man Scramble!), so I plan on coming home and receiving a brutal trashing at the hands of this game.
Should I actually manage to learn how to play this again, I totally want to put together my own federation. I’m a bit slammed as far as work goes this week as I’m having to play catch up for being out sick all last week, but I really wanted to share three stories that have been making the rounds.
Mass Effect features “customizable sodomy” - I don’t know whether he realizes it or not, but conservative blogger Kevin McCullough just so happens to use the Internet. That someone is going to “take full advantage of the Wii’s unique capabilities” or that Juno is this years Little Miss Sunshine , as if there has never been an exceedingly fantastic independent film before. Having been in bed sick all this week (check out my Twitter history for that sorid tale), I managed to not only eat solid food today, but I also dragged myself to the theatre to finally see it. I’d s... more
