Once again, ComingSoon.net weighed in on a report about the George Lucas-produced Red Tails , this time by combing through an interview that Miracle of St. Anna director Spike Lee did with Roger Ebert. While talking about an extra they were shooting for the St. Anna DVD, Lee dropped in a mention that TV and second unit director Anthony Hemingway was going to be directing Tails.
I have no idea where Lee got that information and why it hasn’t been confirmed by Lucas’ people yet, but hey… at least that’s some movement, right?

Anthony Hemingway is known for his work on the Wire and many other TV shows. He is now in talks with George Lucas the direct a World War II epic titled Red Tails.
