As you may suspect, your hard drive is failing. Based on your report you will need recovery software or a service (most local computer shops are set up for this). Do NOT continue trying to access a failing drive if you still hope to get data from it. It will fail completely on you. It may already have. I use some software from OnTrack for hard disk recovery (seldom but vital when needed). http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/d...very-software/ You should try your computer shop first. How do you delete a section group?
From: technologyquestions.com
Post Date: 2008-05-22 13:20:39

I have accidentally created a bunch of section groups that I don’t want, and now I can’t seem to delete them. None of them has any sections in it (I have dragged each section to the notebook tab and successfully made it a stand-along section again). When I right-click on the section group tab in the left-hand navigation bar, and click on "delete", the section group tab disappears for a second or two and then reappears, no matter how many times I try to delete it. I tri... more

1 Slave your hard drive in another computer. 2 Download Knoppix Live CD and make a bootable CD from it. Boot your computer with it, and save your Data to a Flash Drive. -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "sylvester90000" wrote: > > Hi people, I have a computer that was working very well, but lately when > I was working on a important project, there was a power fluctuation for > a couple of times (I thought that was normal) but after the last power > fluctuation my ... more
