could any body help me when i come to uninstal a program on vista premuim. It comes up saying program unistalled but when i go back into the program screen it`s still there,is there a way i can get rid of it completely.

I’m so new to this, having bought my computer a couple of hours ago, that I don’t even know if I’m on the right NG. If not, sorry, and perhaps some kind soul out there can help anyway. I’ve got Windows Mail on this new computer, which has Windows Vista as OS, and it says that my Hotmail account isn’t supported. Is there any way to get round this? I rather need my hotmail to get to my desktop. Perhaps there’s some way of getting Outlook Express on my system ins...

If you have a snap-in with many cmdlets that connect and talk to a resource, what is the recommended way to pass the connection along? There is a cmdlet connect-myresource that takes a machine name and credentials and connects to the remote application. Change Desktop Background- How to get thumbnails to preview?

Not sure what I’m doing wrong. When I choose Change Desktop Background and then select a folder, I don’t see any thumbnails of the pictures, just a stupid eyeball with 32. If I go to View>Icons, it is grayed and only lets me stay with Tiles. If I highlight a picture and try View>Details, it only shows "name." Any suggestions??? ...
