Team Losi were in touch to tell us that 11 year-old Dakotah “The Phenom” Phend used his Team Losi Racing XXX-CR 2WD buggy, XXX-TCR stadium truck and XXX-4 4WD buggy to dominate all three Super Stock 10.5T classes at the ROAR Nationals held last week at Hot Rod Hobbies in Santa Clarita, California. Guided by his ultra-reliable Spektrum DX3R radio and powered with Losi Li-Po batteries and chargers, Dakotah was Top Qualifier and A-Main Champion of 2WD Super Stock Buggy, Super Stock Truck and 4WD Super Stock.

I autocross, and currently have an 93 Rx7 R1 in super stock class. I am looking to get a more competitive car maybe in ASP since the Exige S is not Super Stock legal, yet. So im in the market for an 07 Exige S with LSD and Track package. Right now it seems you can get an 07 for around $20k less than the 08.

The fourth and final round of the 1/8 Italian Off-Road Championships took place at the Arancia Meccanica track in Ribera, Italy. Losi driver Riccardo Rabitti took first place at the event, as well as the title of 2008 Italian National Champion. Riccardo was competing with his Team Losi Racing 8IGHT 2.0 Buggy. Congratulations to Riccardo on his outstanding achievement!

Team Magic have announced the new E4JS, a stripped down version of the the E4 190mm EP touring car that is targeted at a racer who is interested in getting into racing but is conscious of his or her budget. The car sports a lot of plastic in place of the carbon fibre used on the pro version of this kit, but apart from that and a few other changes it is still a fully fledged racer and comes with new shocks, widened belts and thickened flying wing suspension arms.

Tuesday’s first day of qualifying at this years Florida Winternats is over and for the days second run, the rain gods decided to pay a visit to the track and this caused the round to be scrapped. K Factory have released a new range of aluminium, clamp style, hex wheel hubs for Team Magic & Kyosho 200mm racers who want to widen or narrow the track width of their vehicle by as much as 3mm outward or 1.5mm inward. In a warm up race for the upcoming Nationals that takes place at the same venue in a fortnight, Mugen racer Nacho Lopez has dominated at the Cádiz track last weekend. The Tecrotec backed racer was using a prototype of the new Picco Evo3, which was shown last week for the first time at the Picco stand in Germany, and with it managed to TQ the event and break the lap record by 1 second on his way to the overall win of the event.
