The new owners of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune are poltroons. Instead of notifying staffmembers yesterday of their job status, the notification has been postponed to Friday. James Lileks, former STrib columnist, current STRib online-job petitioner, and likely most well-known former STrib employee, has posted a tip jar at The Bleat .
