Boinx Software kauft PhotoPresenter
Großer “Einkauf” bei Boinx Software : Die Münchner Softwareschmide hat von Arizona Software PhotoPresenter erworben, um die eigenen Foto-Präsentationssoftware zu vervollständigen. Boinx Software plant für die beiden Programme PhotoPresenter und FotoMagico “new major releases” für kommendes Jahr.
Creative Suite 4.0
AppleInsider veröffentlicht Details zur Creative Suite 4.0 von Adobe. Zumindest steht ein erster offizieller Termin fest, am 23. September gibt es einen “Web Broadcast” zur Einführung. Die in der Einladung genannte URL http://adobe.com/go/brilliantevent führt derzeit noch auf die Produktseite von der Creative Suite 3.
Papierkorb automatisch leeren
Nettes Feature per Apple Script: Mit TrashSize 1.0 lässt sich der Papierkorb automatisch löschen, sobald der Inhalt größer wie 1 GB wird. Das Programm läuft im Hintergrund und überwacht die Größe des Papierkorbs.

Apple hat heute Abend die Zahlen für das vierte Quartal des Geschäftsjahres 2006 bekannt gegeben. Demnach konnte Apple 4,84 Milliarden US-Dollar Umsatz (+32% im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal) bei 546 Millionen Dollar Gewinn verbuchen.
