Though my time is limited today and my analysis is incomplete, I would like to point out an article in the News-Leader which gives a break down of the health care proposal Hulshof is pushing in his candidacy.
From my perspective the plan is a bit on the bulky side, but I suppose any policy dealing with the subject isnt exactly going to be light reading and will open its self to lots and lots of questions which need to be raised.
I should note what I am impressed with is the design which allows for market forces to keep the cost of health care down and limit growth in government spending. This is an important point left out of the news media in its coverage of the health care cuts.
Before the cuts were made our state was in a budget crisis which Bob Holden threatened to withhold money from education in order to recieve the money for medicaid he sought.

Just crossing the wires .
“We did have radio traffic come from one of our searchers on the scene saying that young Michael has been found. He is alive,” ranger Tina White said. “We’re all smiling now.”
