So today my roomie graciously lent me his macbook, mic and mic stand, and his Presonus Inspire.
I now have much better recordings! if only the playing had improved
the new songs are: good clean fun, crunchovchaos, metal is best left to the professionals, and 12 bar w/ lead.
the reason the metal clip sounds weak is the amp was on 0.5, and nothing is multi-tracked. at some point i will write some metal riffage that i can remember, and double-track it for you guys :)

DISCLAIMER: it’s sloppy playing on the "metal" track - i need to practise.
this is to show some of the tones I get with my rig. Feedback welcome!

Problem is, i only have 1 vol. and 1 pickup selection (no tone or anything). So is it possible to wire a push/pull so pushed in (normal) its on bridge and pulled its on neck, with a killswitch where the pickup selector currently is?
If so, can someone provide a diagram? ...

I recently had a blackstar hd-distx filth pedal, and it got great maideneque tones, but i returned it because im looking for a serious thrash/death pedal that kicks some ass.
My amp is a raven rg60 with a 12 incher
Im using a gibson faded sg with stock pickups and 12-56 strings
the amp has good hard rock tones but just cant do metal.
So i was thinking either
