The NBA draft went off as predicted, Derrick Rose No. 1, Michael Beasley No. 2, O.J. Mayo No. 3 and so on. Next comes the dozens of experts trying to determine the winners and losers and who will make the biggest impact etc.Â
But if you look a little deeper at who was drafted late, you might find some hidden gems.Â
So who will be the darling of the draft, the one player that makes other teams shake their heads for passing over them? Beginning with the second round picks there are a host of quality players that could make an immediate impact.

Lovie Smith, head coach of the Chicago Bears, has made it official; he’s going to let Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton duke it out for the starting job. Not exactly exciting stuff. It looks like two mules fighting over a turnip; that’s right, no one cares.
