I have a 64 bit Vista Ultimate machine.
I am trying to upgrade my OEM Works 9 that came with my PC to Office Small
Business 2007.
I checked with the manufacturer (HP) and they said that the OEM Works 9 sku
is valid for the Upgrade I purchased, but they couldn’t help me with my
problem. They pointed me to MS support.
I would go to MS support, but because I can’t install the software, I don’t
have a ProductID yet, and so I have to pay $50 to get support there.
If I was able to install the product, I’d be eligible for 90 days of free
support via the ProductID.
The message I get on the install is this:
"Setup can’t find a version of Microsoft Office on your computer.
If Office is installed on a disk or network share, click the browse button
to select the appropriate disk or share. If you have a version of Microsoft
office on a CD, place the CD in your CD-ROM drive, and then click the browse
button to select the appropriate drive...

While dictating into Microsoft FrontPage using Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 FrontPage keeps shutting down for no reason. I've tried uninstalling FrontPage and Microsoft Works with word, excel etc. but this doesn't seem to help. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 but still no luck. Does anyone have any other ideas for me to try?
I used Microsoft FrontPage with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 and it always worked fine.

i want to link my vb program to my works data base, its a stock program to keep inventary updated with bars codes on every product, i read the bar code and divide the string on 3 different string, which are code, quantity, and position, what i want to do, its acces works to modify data base on code column with the quantity.
someone knows how to do this, help its very appreciated :P???

I have tried a number of things and searched all over but can’t figure out
how I can link other cells to a list item.
Example - if I select a specific item from the drop down list I want to be
able to get the price for the item as well from my price list, which could be
in the same worksheet or workbook.

nickname and put however many email addresses I wanted to in the nickname. If
a distribution list will only hold about 120 emails how do I send an email to

Hi,
I have put my Word 2007 autotext entries into one file as a BB.dotx
and saved it in the default startup directory as noted in file
Locations. I also create a .dotm macros file that access any custom
autotext from that BB.dotx file.
There is another program that has a template in the same folder. For
some reason when this other programs template is running I get an
error that says my BB.dotx or Macros.dotm file says it is read-only.
