Hi all, I’m a little new to this but I’ve had the idea of moving to America for some time. I’m currently studying BA (Hons) Animation in University in Wales, UK. After I graduate I plan to gain some experience in industry to back myself up. This may get asked a lot but what are the chances, or procedures, of moving to the USA in my position if I were looking to work there? It’s early days yet but I’d like to know a bit about the system early on. :)

Thanks in advance for your sharing. ... more

I woke up today feeling plop and the day has just gotten worse. I am now sitting here looking at how cheap a flight I can find to go back to the UK for a week or so. Not that I would go back but it makes me feel slightly better! I left BC a month or so ago and even though I am much happier to be here rather than there, I had started to make friends and now I don’t have any again! I know eventually I will find some but it is just getting me down at the moment. Then OH comes hom... more
Beer help

Can you tell me the best beers available where you live? I don’t want any Butt-Wiper or Miller-Genuine-Daft suggestions...real beers, preferably ales but a good lager will work and absolutely nothing "lite" or non-alcoholic. :D I am enjoying the microbrews around New England but want to know others that I need to try when traveling around the country. Cheers guys n gals  ... more
