Senate to Vote on PTC Today The Senate will vote today on the Baucus/Grassley Amendment to HR 6049, which has an extension of the production tax credit (PTC) for wind power through 2009. If it passes in the Senate, it will move to the House for a vote perhaps as early as later this week.
The PTC expires at the end of 2008 so now is the time urge your senator to support it. The American Wind Energy Association has a helpful page for contacting your Senator about this issue.
