Missouri Liberty Coalition Chairman Issues Clairification

Tom Martz of the Missouri Liberty Coalition has issued a clairification regarding his piece in today’s newspaper refuting the column of Sarah Overstreet regarding metal detectors in the Busch Municipal Building and Old City Hall. I wanted to link to it so that if you saw his piece you could see that he was not intending to run down the officers of the Springfield PD.  I knew that Tom wouldn’t do that so I didn’t read it that way but I can see where some would think that’s what was happening. Now, about the piece Tom wrote…Tom claims that “The most dangerous person in council chambers by his own admission is Councilman (Dan) Chiles and his pocketknife that he carries with him every place he goes.”  How do we know that no one’s brought a concealed gun into those chambers?  We don’t…so we can’t really say that Tom’s assertion is correct no matter how humorous it is.
