Meet the manikins (not to be confused with mankinis), medical dummies (spelled "manikin", apparently) used to train future doctors on how to do the bare minimum to keep you alive that the HMO will pay for. There are all types, from the sexy Overweight CPR manikin to the Deluxe Child Crisis manikin. My favorite is the Multi Man CPR manikin, because it reminds me of last weekend. Vote on your favorite, then report back here and we’ll compare notes. Next week we’ll feature Manikin II: On The Move. [ Medical Mainikins on Oobject ]

Logitech ClearChat Wireless Headset Liberates Users From Their PCs [Headsets]From: archive.dailypicture.net
Post Date: 2008-03-04 13:47:00
Logitech’s ClearChat Wireless PC headset might seem unremarkable, but a quick scan of Amazon shows there aren’t really any wireless headsets on the market with dual earphones. Logitech claims the 2.4 GHz Wireless device is designed with VoIP users in mind, but we all really know why this is great: MMO fanboys can now head over to the bathroom and drain a shotgunned gallon of Mountain Dew without abandoning their clan of orcs, elves and mages. SanDisk may have a new PMP on the way. An accessory bundle for something called a Sansa Fuze was spotted on maker HandStands’ website earlier—currently the address redirects to generic Sansa accessories. The player pictured in the ad looks like competition for a 3G iPod nano, and will likely include 8-16GB of memory as well as video and radio playback. When we know for sure, you will too. While this might be a great solution for people wh...

Post Date: 2008-03-04 13:47:00
City dwellers who can’t shake their love for the Great Outdoors will find excitement in the "Urban Skiff." It’s a portable boat that goes from duffle bag to sad, wilted-looking dinghy in just eight impossible easy steps. Now all you need is a space in your cramped apartment to store a boat-sized bag, means to transport it and water to set sail in. Personally, you’d have a better chance of finding my body at the bottom of the East River before you found me carrying this thing ...
