In selecting first-term Governor Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) as his running mate, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) proved that not only does he not have the judgment to choose a qualified second-in-command but that he lacks the judgment to lead.
Palin, an unknown outside of her home state of Alaska, is a political lightweight with zero experience on foreign policy and international relations, and no known background on national issues other than drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) — she’s for it — and reproductive rights — she’s against them. She has served as the Governor of Alaska for eighteen months. That is three weeks less than McCain has campaigned for the presidency and they have only met once prior to her selection . Do you watch any of the other networks besides FOX? I rotate them, CNN, MSNBC, FOX etc. If you only watch one, I expect a lot of what I’m seeing here. I noticed you didn’t touch a couple of the points I brought up. In another post you said: "The ACORN doesn’t fall far from the tree, does it?" McCain was the keynote speaker for Acorn in 2006. Some thoughts on the poll above . . .
First, some assumptions.
Senator John McCain will be defeated by Senator Barack Obama by both a solid electoral and popular vote margin, although not the blowout I once expected. Barack Obama will have the psychological boost of being the first Democratic candidate since LBJ to win over 50% of the popular vote.

I was fortunate enough to make it to Chicago for the YearlyKos Convention this past weekend. It was an experience that I will never forget. I was able to meet really interesting people doing amazing things from around the country.
The biggest takeaway for me was connecting with several Latino bloggers and activists. It was the first time in a long time, if ever, that I felt a sense of community with my brown brothers and sisters.
