Eclectic Sights, Sounds and Sensations at Tate Liverpool
Celebrate the opening of the Liverpool Biennial with a special night of imagination and improvisation. In the month of September Late at Tate presents MADE UP Mix, an evening of musical delights and new work from leading international artists. MADE UP Mix gives visitors the opportunity to experience an exhilarating improvised performance by Bob and Roberta Smith’s Apathy Band (where members of the public are invited to take part), a revealing tour by Tate Liverpool’s MADE UP curator and a documentary screening featuring Biennial artists Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Birchler. Chibuku DJ Phil Charnock will be warming up the foyer from 18.00, followed by a performance by avant-garde Leeds band, Die Plankton.
