With Thiago Alves’s very impressive win over Josh Koscheck MMA fans have begun to wonder if a title shot is in the future. Georges St. Pierre, via Yardbarker, spoke about Alves, and his win. UFC.com is reporting that the headline fight for UFC 85 in London has now been scrapped because Mauricio “Shogun” Rua has re-injured his left knee. Rua has a torn ACL in his left knee, the same injury he suffered prior to the Forrest Griffin fight at UFC 76. He was scheduled to return against former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell.
