As you already know, today was the launch of the limited-edition Marty McFly versions of the Nike Hyperdunk sneakers. The 350 pairs were sold almost instantly (some are now for sale in eBay for as much as $2,000), a hundred of them at the UNDFTD shop in Santa Monica. Lakers’ megastar Kobe Bryant arrived there in a DeLorean time machine to be greeted by hundred of fans, some of them camping outside for more than 24 hours. Seriously, I’m a Back to the Future fan too, but what kind of sick, brain-fried fanboy can wait for more than 24 hours for a stupid piece of merchandise? Ah… hmmm. OK. Post Date: 2008-03-16 02:07:34

This slower than expected/desired Friday has almost been saved by a new online find which is the USBee, flash drive concept. Designed by Damjan Stankovic and winner of the MS Industrial USB Competition, USBee is a USB flash drive with a twist, given by its shape, overall look and features. While tech specs aren’t the case here the design shows great promise as it can better protect the drive due to its flexible and slim ’neck’. Since the USB connector is not directly put on... more
More GeForce 9800 GTX pictures and numbers

Although it’s more of an evolutionary step as it still uses a G92 chip, we can’t get enough of the soon-to-be-released GeForce 9800 GTX, and we’re not alone. Some nice far Eastern folks have got their hands on a 9800 GTX and, after swapping the stock cooler with a Zalman Fatal1ty fan, put it to the test in 3DMark06. Backed by a Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU set to 3400 MHz and the ForceWare 174.40, the GeForce 9800 GTX returned a score of 13212 at the default resolution, an unimpre... more

Despite the world economy’s obvious problems, IDC’s predictions for the PC market in 2008 suggest that a dual-digit growth is possible and will most likely be real. In 2008 IDC is seeing some 302 million units being shipped, meaning a 12.8% increase over 2007, while for 2009 a growth of 11% is expected.
