During the 3rd Quarter of Tuesday’s Game 3 of The NBA Finals, ABC Commentators Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson and Mike Breen were discussing the abundance of celebrities in attendance for the game at L.A.’s Staples Center .
When Van Gundy was asked who he noticed, he immediately blurted out: “ALYSSA MILANO!!!”
Jackson and Breen were a bit taken aback by his enthusiasm.
And then Van Gundy pulled a “McCarver” (a term used to describe horribly inaccurate information shared by a sports commentator, based on FOX ’s baseball color man Tim McCarver .)
Jeff said, “If I were Nick Lachey  (which he pronounced LAH-chee), I’d make sure no one got near her!”
So…not only did he incorrectly pronounce Nick Lachey’s name, he incorrectly named his girlfriend.
Clearly, anyone with a sense of all things unimportant knows that Nick Lachey’s girlfriend is in fact Vanessa Mi...
