There were 5 labs and 1 Parallel Event at iSummit08.   They were Open Education, Open business, DIY video, Local Context Global Commons, Frontiers of Openness in Japan and the research.  Boiler Room    Boiler room was an introductory short speech session made by each labs at the first day of iSummit08.  Each lab pitched to introduce what is going to happen in their lab and invite isummiters to their labs. Our lab has become a bit more Christmas-ish today! I’ve got ornaments and santa costumes from DG’s Christmas party last night. Overmundo

Overmundo is a community website on Brazilian Culture, as well as software tool. We, at Joi Ito’s Lab, is hosting the website of iCommons.org and this site is using the technology of Overmundo. Overmundo won the Ars Electronica Golden Nica award of digital communities division this year, and Ronaldo Lemos made a speech there. On 11/23, we had another photowalk in Shimokitazawa. Thanks Brian for being the guide for the walk!
