… saying, “I’m the mom!”Â
We went to the hospital last night because Pristine’s recurring fever was very high. It has been a roller coaster ride since Wednesday night with fever shooting up and going down again. No cough or cold, just fever but we wanted to make sure what’s wrong.
While I carried her, (I didn’t realize she is this heavy now, I almost broke my back) people were staring at us. One woman in front of me finally asked, “From where is that child (nationality)?”
I answered back, “Japan. She’s Japanese”.
Then I knew this was coming: “Your employer is Japanese?”
I could not count the times I was asked if my own daughter is my ward, and if I am someone’s maid because Pristine do not look like me although 50% of her genes is mine (supposedly!).
So what do you think, should I bleach my skin? or make my eyes smaller?

Before, I never even dreamed of being in an interracial marriage, I even swore to my friends I won’t but I guess destiny has her own rules.
People say that the babe doesn’t look like me at all but I gu...

Pristine is a little bit sick and when I say little bit, it means she is sick but kind of not so sick. Ha ha, I know, it’s confusing for me too. When I got home last night and kissed her as I greeted the door, I felt she is warmer than usual. I checked with the temperature, I was right, she was having a slight fever. I even guessed correctly that her temperature must be high but not reaching 37C.
Today, there’s going to be a sports fest at her school and she could not attend. She ...
