Mellon Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) announces the availability of a small number of Frederick Burkhardt Residential Fellowships for Recently Tenured Scholars engaged in long-term, unusually ambitious projects in the humanities and related social sciences.
Appropriate fields of specialization include but are not limited to: anthropology, archaeology, art and architectural history, economic history, film, geography, history, languages and literatures, legal studies, linguistics, musicology, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion, rhetoric and communication, sociology, and theater studies.
