Wedding plans are nearing the final stage, regardless of whether we’re ready. Time stops for no man and our wedding date approaches indifferent to our cries for more time. We have all the important stuff - the ceremony is planned, the reception hall booked and the food has been tasted. Last minute changes to the list attendees continue to be updated.
I’m on “vacation” right now to assist in planning or executing any last minute details. Baby is sleeping through the night until about 7am (when I normally wake up anyway) so everything is just dandy.
Final stage - here I come!

I prefer to ignore American elections. Despite their impact on the world, I find the daily bickering of US politicians during an election year nauseating. The primaries are even more so, but they are also under the added need to appear ‘conciliatory’ with their fellow democrats or republicans.
I hate them all. They’re all pandering for votes with little leadership spread among them. And is there much difference between the candidates?
