Reviewing a Washington Post column about the relationship between Bill Ayers and Sen. Obama, the Post somehow missed the Annenberg Challenge. $100 Milllion Budget, 5 years of collaboration, board meetings etc, but the Post only notes the "facts that have come out so far are the $200 contribution by Ayers to the Obama re-election fund". How can a major newspaper ignore the $100 Million elephant in the room to concentrate on a $200 contribution?
Perhaps the Post could use a trip to the Library at 801 S. Morgan to do some research, if the Librarian would unlock the archives.

Graceful Holiday Survival GuideFrom: feeds.feedburner.com Post Date: 2008-11-18 08:17:49 It’s almost time to haul our lesbian, vegan, wiccan asses back to the small towns from which we escaped years ago, so that we can celebrate how thankful we are to have done so.
Here are just a few do’s and don’ts for the big day:
DO initiate a discussion about Sarah Palin and the liberal media. This will be more entertaining than a barrel of monkeys, trust me.
DON’T ask any relative over the age of 70 how s/he is feeling unless you are an EMT and can handle this so... more Wholly Unnecessary ChallengeFrom: captainyips.typepad.com Post Date: 2008-11-18 04:57:55 Of all the challenges to charity that are probably to be presented as a result of the new administration, the most immediate seems to be the emergence of Bill Ayers from his Hyde Park incubator. How Obama Will Silence the Smug EuropeansFrom: cdobs.com Post Date: 2008-01-18 00:00:00 Early last month, I was asked to write a story about Barack Obama for a newspaper in my native Ireland.
I was surprised at the readiness with which the paper’s editors were prepared to grant prominence to a candidate who, I knew, was then barely on the radar of the general public. The article was to be the cover story of the newspaper’s magazine.
Shortly after it was published, I was visiting Ireland and met socially with the magazine’s editor. After making a few positive noises abo... more Welcome the New Politicians! Please Excuse The CarpetbagsFrom: cdobs.com Post Date: 2008-01-18 00:00:00 Change is in the air. It’s not spring, it’s the political season. But what
to do if you’re an Illinois Democrat pol, or a wannabe, running in a county,
a state or perhaps for a Congress that is run by Democrats?
Run as an outsider. Run even when you don’t live in the district.
I first noticed the phenomenon when perennial boy-wonder, former ballet
dancer and Clintonista Rahm Emanuel pushed aside a local woman activist
to grab the 5th district ring post-Roste... more Why the Clintons Play the Race CardFrom: cdobs.com Post Date: 2008-01-18 00:00:00 The more the conversation gets to be about race, the better the Clintons think they will do. It’s as simple as that.
They want to nudge—even provoke—Barack Obama into becoming the “black” candidate rather than the healing, unity candidate. They want black supporters to raise their voices on his behalf—preferably the Al Sharpton types who will shrilly cry “racism” and thus exacerbate the divide.
That’s why Billary changed the conversation in New Hampshire, risking some an... more Choosy and Picky: Tom Roeser on the RepublicansFrom: cdobs.com Post Date: 2008-01-18 00:00:00 Every day I meet Republicans who believe somehow that things are as good for them today as they were in the hey-day of the Reagan years…so they allow that if McCain is nominated, they would “hold their nose’ and they cannot abide Huckabee and Romney is a issues shifter.
They should understand that 2008 may well be 1974, the Watergate year, and they shouldn’t be so cocky but be glad that anybody of any quality decided to run for president on their party’s line. Americans regard the ... more
