The latest metro area unemployment report from Uncle Sam says that as of June, the unemployment rate in Metro Chicago, home of “The One” I refer to as “Mr. BOOHOO-OUCH” (Barack O-bomba Overseas Hussein “Obambi” Obama - Objectively Unfit Coddler of Haters) , was 7.1%. Meanwhile, the unemployment rates in the home state of the presidential candidate I refer to as JS3M3 (John Sidney the Mad Maverick McCain III) were 4.3% in Phoenix, 4.6% in Prescott, 4.6% in Flagstaff, and 4.8% in Tucson. If McCain doesn’t know enough about economics, the chances that he will be advised by home-staters who know something about creating jobs would appear to be pretty good. The chances that Obama, who is breathtakingly ignorant in economic matters (not even understanding the difference between income and net worth), will find similar real-world expertise among Land of Lincoln residents would appear to be much lower. ______________________________...

Mark Steyn (now free from Canadian prosecution for un-PC speech) would prefer a less mystical adversary from the left. The day after the debate I bumped into two Obama supporters in St Johnsbury, Vermont who said isn’t it great that he’s on course to win. Well, they were cute chicks, and I know an obvious pick-up line when I hear one, so I stopped to chat. God Almighty, it was like reverse Viagra: After ten minutes of Babes For Barack, I never want to meet a female woman o... more

Well, I did write an article about how Obama is not the Antichrist in the technical sense. However, with Obamamania sweeping the world, one has to take pause with his cult adoration with those considering him to be a Savior. It’s dangerous for a politician to become a symbol. Thus, my choice of songs for this video I made: ... more

Anyone wondering what my battle to restore the right to free speech in Canada has to do with America should read Michael Barone on "The Coming Obama Thugocracy". WGN’s Milt Rosenberg, NR’s Stanley Kurtz and others have already been on the receiving end of the thugocracy. On the air with Milt the other night, I quoted Bob Hope and Bing Crosby: He gets his shirts straight from Paris Cigarettes from the Nile He talks like a highbrow But he plays Chicago style... That’s Obama... more

Thank you, Speaker Pelosi, for this preview of life if there’s a President Obama: WASHINGTON (AP) - After consulting with Barack Obama, Democratic leaders are likely to call Congress back to work after the election in hopes of passing legislation that would include extended jobless benefits, money for food stamps and possibly a tax rebate, officials said Saturday. The bill’s total cost could reach $150 billion, these officials said. The officials stressed that no fina... more

This surely should be one of the 10 Commandments of Politics — Before you criticize your opponent (link requires registration) for a speech he made eight years ago, make sure you didn’t send him an e-mail at the time shortly thereafter lauding him for his “eloquence and ‘moral authority’”: Democratic Senate candidate Ned Lamont, who recently [...]... more
