Comcast recently began to insert advertisements in their on-screen program guide. Comcast obviously decided to do this to increase their profits. The problem is that the ads are intrusive in that they remove useful content from the program guide to make room for the ads. In addition, when you scroll down the program guide, the last entry on every page is an ad, and you have to click past the ad to get to the next page of the program guide.
