Yesterday I received an invitation to a jewelry party hosted by my cousin Lori. Kevin, being not-female, was boggled by the very concept of a party where the guests are expected to buy things. I, on the other hand, have been to a scrapbooking party, a skin products party, and have received invitations to candle parties. I tried to explain to Kevin how exactly these things work.
