Hands down this is my absolute favorite dessert! My mom started making it a while back and I have been hooked ever since. It’s just one of those recipes that I keep coming back to again and again. And of course, it’s super simple! All you do is layer these basic ingredients in a trifle dish: Whipped Topping, Chocolate Pudding, baked and cooled Brownies, and chopped Heath Bar .
In the States I always made my brownies from a brownie mix, but now I’ve found this recipe . I also used to buy Cool Whip , but since it’s not available here I started whipping up my own whipping cream and adding a little vanilla extract and sugar (why didn’t anyone ever tell me how simple this is??) Heath Bar isn’t available here, but my mom brought me a package and we’ve enjoyed every last bite! This time I tried Mars bars chopped up and it was great this way too!

Last night I started unpacking and organizing all the stamping goodies my Mother-in-law was able to bring for me in her suitcases. I hadn’t really had a chance to play around with everything, but I was DYING to play with all my new chipboard, patterned paper, and stamps!

Yes, Grandma’s visit has come to an end. She is on an airplane as I write heading to New York and then back to Atlanta. I wish saying good-bye could somehow get easier, but instead it only seems to get harder. Holding Hailey in my arms, we tearfully said good-bye and then drove the longest three hours ever back home. So, I needed something to cheer me up a bit, so I thought I would show you a couple of my favorite pictures of Parker.
