Now that Tata has proved to the world that even the impoverished can have a set of wheels, is a flying car far behind?
It appears that TAL Manufacturing Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors is in contract with Boeing.
Before you get too excited, it is not for the world's cheapest flying car. The contract is to build floor beams for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. The floor beams will be built with advanced titanium and composite materials for significant weight savings.
