Had a new idea today, slapped it down, thought I’d throw it out for comments. Calling it "Realistic" , done with the 84 Gibson V, Yamaha Bass, and Hydrogen drums. Just for fun, I quad-tracked the guitar part, twice with a tweaked Spinal Puppet (one bridge and one neck) and twice with an approximated Nevermore "DHIADW" Dual Rec (also one bridge, one neck), all panned to try and balance the tones; then I copied the bass part (a mistake, I hear that now) and panned them out a bit, and did the same with the drum track. The drum track’s not so bad, I may play with that in the future.
Re-did "Pride" , this time in E standard (was in D, but it’s actually a lot easier to play in E, and sounds better to my ears). This is only two guitars (both w/ the Spinal patch), one bass track, and one drum track, no EQ’ing at all. Other than changing ...
